Evalaze Application Virtualization Version 0.9

Release of Tech Preview 0.9

Following the successful release of Tech Preview from Evalaze in June 2010, Dögel IT-Management is now taking the next important step. On 24/11/2010, Evalazer version 0.9, the in-house and first German development in the field of application virtualisation, will be published.

Apart from the increased application compatibility, the improved support of the WinSxS-dlls is to be emphasised. With Evalaze 0.9, all Office afflicted workers can now run several versions of Access at the same time, independent of the target system.  Smooth migration to Windows 7 is now no longer a problem.

The main focus of this new version is, apart from significant improvements in performance and stability of the virtualised applications, the increased compatibility in the following areas:

• Compatibility with Windows 7
• Support for all programs using WinSxS technology (e.g. Office 2007/2010; Safari 5)
• Furthermore, a virtual application can grow up to 1900 MB in size, without having to create a separate container file.

For the first time, support of virtual services is also integrated. It is now possible to run a service in a virtual environment without administrator rights. This service thus does not burden the system, as it is not installed permanently.

Test the brand new Evalaze version exclusively! It can now be downloaded from Evalaze.de. Private users can use Evalaze free of charge.
