Client Management
definition: centralised management of pcs

Client management is the centralised management of PCs and components in a network. With the help of client management, administrators can inventory pcs and control them remotely. A client management system's most important functions are inventory, software distribution, remote administration and managing trouble tickets.

Client management is often used as a synonym to desktop management, but actually it is together with desktop management a subcategory to system management.
